Description
Active shooter events most commonly occur in businesses (45%), schools (25%), and government facilities (10%).
This Level UP Workshop: Active Shooter Training for Businesses is designed to help business owners and employees recognize warning signs related to active shooting events and effectively respond if violence occurs. Attendees will also learn what to expect from law enforcement in these situations, and what information if pertinent to deliver to the police during their response.
The workshop facilitator will be Detective Scott Crivelli, an active shooter instructor and an operator on the SWAT team. A member of the South Lake Tahoe Police Department for 10 years, Detective Crivelli is currently assigned to property crimes and was formerly a K-9 handler.
