Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Dorado County (BBBS) is excited to announce our 2nd Annual BIG Benefest Concert, Friday, June 3rd, gates open at 6:00pm. Garratt Wilkin & the Parrotheads (the nations #1 Jimmy Buffett tribute band) will be headlining and Jonny Mojo is opening. This festive evening includes; wine tasting from your favorite local wineries, Food Trucks in the Foothills will have their trucks, a beer and wine garden, vendor booths, activities for the kids & much more! Tickets are $25 for adults, $5 for students & FREE to children 10 and under. We invite the community to enjoy this evening at the park and make a positive impact for at-risk youth in our community.
Sabin Lomac, co-founder of Cousins Maine Lobster, will speak about his experience with Big Brothers Big Sisters at BIG Benefest. Sabin has been a member of BBBS since he was 13, first as a little brother and now as a big brother. He is currently voted Big Brother of the Year for California. Sabin, along with his cousin and business partner Jim Tselikis, started their own charity in 2013, Cousins for a Cause, which partners exclusively with BBBS of Los Angeles. Cousins Maine Lobster food truck will be serving dinner at the event.
A variety of sponsorship levels are still available for businesses with opportunities for marketing and brand recognition including radio, social & print media. All registration levels include tickets to the concert and a booth.
BBBS is a true local nonprofit organization, relying on the generosity of individuals and local partners for program costs. Thanks to the support of the community, BBBS has served El Dorado County for over 38 years. 100% of the proceeds from the Benefest will be used to provide preventative one-on-one mentoring services.
