Tourism Forum
The 2015 Tourism Forum is April 21, 2015 at Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel. The Tourism Forum focuses on marketing and trends the South Shore should embrace, as well as the issues that may impact tourism, recreation and the economy in the near future. This year's forum will feature lessons learned from Tahoe Chamber's trek to Park City, including a trek video that highlights how the South Shore can tackle its own challenges through Park City's example. Special guest speakers Ken Fisher, Park City Recreation Manager, and Jonathan Weidenhamer, Park City Economic Development Manager, will speak to the unique issues and solutions mountain towns face in today's economy. The forum will also include many other topics, including the ways in which the South Shore can improve its visibility as a world-class recreation and Tahoe South's summer initiatives. Mingle with guest speakers and recreation professionals at the reception 5:30 - 6:30.
