Ribbon Cutting - Tot to Tot
Tot to Tot, a gently used children?s clothing, toy and equipment store, recently celebrated two years in business in South Lake Tahoe. To celebrate this occasion, owner Erin Elliott invites the community to a ribbon cutting and open house on June 2 beginning at 4:30 pm. Elliott first realized the need for quality used children?s items in Tahoe when she became a mother five years ago. With little luck finding affordable children?s items in the South Shore, Elliott yearned for the prices and quality found in gently-used clothing and equipment stores in larger cities. ?I felt there was a demand not only from me, but from many other local families in Tahoe for gently-used children?s clothing, toys and equipment,? Elliott said. Elliott utilized her business degree, past work experience and her role as a mother to three children to establish Tot to Tot, which allows families to recycle their children?s items within the community. Customers may trade in their items for cash or credit. ?Children grow out of their clothing and use their toys and equipment for such a short length of time that it seems absurd to purchase brand new for all the items our children need ? or want!? Elliott said. With over 3,000 square feet packed with a huge selection of pre-loved children?s items, Tot to Tot offers parents, grandparents and caregivers the opportunity to shop in a clean, organized and friendly atmosphere for furniture, clothing and toys at a fraction of the price at major retail stores. Tot to Tot also offers convenient baby equipment rentals for visitors. Tot to Tot is located at 2314 Lake Tahoe Blvd in South Lake Tahoe, CA. For more information, call (530) 600-1848.
