About Us

Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe was founded in 1958. It is a part of a worldwide organization of women who commit themselves to do service to their community, region, and world. The South Lake Tahoe Club has over 100 members representing a variety of professions and industries within the community. The aims of the group are to maintain high ethical standards in business, strive for human rights, develop a spirit of unity among all Soroptimists of the world, and quicken the spirit of service and human understanding.
