About Us

Barton University is a local educational resource, providing training in a variety of topics for employees and physicians of Barton Health, as well as the Lake Tahoe community. Basic Lifesaving courses are offered several times each month. Other educational opportunities include Childbirth classes, First Aid, Cultural Diversity and Leadership.

Barton University can provide classroom or on-site training for local businesses or organizations. Programs on Green Living and Nutrition, among others, are available by contacting us through the Barton University office or by our website.
