Representing a diverse network of businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and regional partners, Tahoe Chamber works collaboratively to strengthen the local economy and address the issues that impact doing business in the Lake Tahoe Basin. The Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce (Tahoe Chamber) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation formed under the laws of the State of Nevada, registered in Nevada, and qualified to do business in the State of California.
Tahoe Chamber is a membership-based organization governed by a board of directors, with day to day operations handled by a professional staff of four, supported by three financial/administrative staff members shared with the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority. Tahoe Chamber takes a proactive role in promoting local economy sustainability, business advocacy, governmental relations, civic, cultural and educational activities and in the development and implementation of programs and initiatives for our members and the community that accomplish these purposes.
