Future-Ready South Shore Forum & Luncheon
Join us for a forum & luncheon focused on the future of South Lake Tahoe and how businesses and community members can better prepare for new and younger customers. Featuring keynote speaker Lynn Carpenter, the VP of Marketing for Visit California, who will discuss Visit CA's marketing initiatives (US and International) and share with attendees how this impacts the local market and how local businesses can and should leverage Visit CA efforts. She'll also talk about tomorrow's visitor and discuss opportunities for local businesses.
Two other speakers will also share during the afternoon, Carl Ribaudo and Jason Broadwater. Carl, President of SMG, will speak to cultural shifts in our market place and the competitive set and what we can learn from them. Jason, Founder of Revenflo, will strive to dispel myths about millennials. He'll present the lifestyle choices millennials are making and how that impacts their disposable income available for travel. He'll speak to what a community needs in order to be attractive to this growing and vital demographic and what they consider when making decisions about where to vacation, live, and work. Jason will also speak to how this demographic seeks a team to solve problems and how talent seeks a village where they can become part of the solution.
The speakers will be followed by a forum and discussion with all three speakers and the audience.
