SUMMARY:Women in Leadership: Courage to Thrive
DESCRIPTION:Tahoe Chamber invites women leaders in the Lake Tahoe region to attend Women in Leadership: Opportunity to Thrive on Wednesday\, February 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.at The Beach Retreat & Lodge. Registrations are now open through January 11-13th for sponsors and January 16 - February 3\, 2023\, for the public.  \n\n\n\nWe are thrilled to be hosting our WinL - Thrive event series\, "OPPORTUNITY TO THRIVE"\, on Wednesday\, February 15\, 2023\, at the Beach Retreat and Lodge. Join us and our guest speaker\, Elena Armijo\, as we delve into strategies to seek new\, purposeful\, and perhaps slightly uncomfortable\, opportunities to further career\, life and community engagement goals and ambitions. Our upcoming workshop will cover serval areas including:\n\n\n	Succession Planning: Creating Women's Voices at the Table\n	Coaching vs Mentoring: How they are different\, why they are important\, and how to implement\n	Leading Through Legacy: Women leading women\, and\, women replacing women\n\nA little about Elena: A Master Certified Coach (MCC)\, Found and CEO of The C-Suite Collective\, and Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator\, Elena has a strong track record of supporting clients and organizations in creating impact\, culture shifts and leadership development. Elena was inspired to become an Executive and Leadership Coach through her work as a professional opera singer. Drawn to work with ambitious top performers like herself\, she realized she could bring unique insight to the coaching business after spending many years "on the other side of the table." Elena's ten-year career in opera spanned the globe and included work with many prestigious opera companies as well as performances at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Elena holds a BM of Music Education from New Mexico State University and an MM in Vocal Performance from the University of Washington. Elena also hosts the podcast\, The Collective Corner.\n\n \n\nTickets are $150 for Tahoe Chamber members and $165 General. Lunch is included. Limited seats are available.
